MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The approach of a cold front out west will get rain coverage back in the picture in time for the weekend. Friday also features the chance for scattered thunderstorms to be on the strong to severe side. The rain chance will last through Saturday before clearing in time for Sunday.
Overnight lows will range in the low to mid 60s with cloudy skies and Thursday highs are forecast to reach near 80 degrees. Isolated showers /storms are possible, but the significant rain threat is on Friday.
A slight cool down is expected in time to start the new work week. Meteorologist Max Tsaparis will update you on the storm threat tomorrow morning starting at 5 a.m.
