MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Steady light showers will continue this evening across most of the viewing area, with a chance for periods of heavier rain later tonight and early in the morning in the coastal bend. The flow of moisture and clouds will be further supported by a low-pressure system in the Gulf, which will remain south of the region but still close enough to keep a push of rain and an isolated thunderstorm closer to the coastline overnight. Winds will increase as the sky clears by early Thursday afternoon. Lows will reach the upper 40s as the rain ends, then slowly rise toward the mid 50s in south Georgia to lower 60s in the southeastern Big Bend. The week will close on a clear and chilly note, with lows dropping into the 30s and highs in the 60s.
