MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Patches of cloud cover linger in the coastal and southeastern parts of the region, where brief showers are in a resurgent phase late this afternoon, but any significant rain chances have pushed off to our south. A few more areas of passing clouds are likely overnight as another cold front enters from the northwest. With a much drier atmosphere around us, there isn't much of a chance for showers. A clear sky will greet us around sunrise, with a sunny sky in place for most of the daytime Thursday. Temperatures will be cooler, with lows in the mid and upper 50s and highs tomorrow peaking in the mid and upper 70s. Another colder morning is setting up for Friday before readings rebound over the Mother's Day weekend; however, sunshine will continue to be abundant and rain chances absent until later next week.
