MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Thunderstorms may behave similarly to last night, with a few spotty occurrences in interior south Georgia drifting west and southwest toward the state line, interacting with other nearby storms to cause brief flare-ups in the local strength of any late-day and evening storm.  Heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and strong gusts are possible if and when this development happens.  Storms will subside by late in the night, with breaking clouds early Thursday.  Lows will be in the mid to lower 70s.  Limited change in the pattern tomorrow afternoon will mean scattered rain and storms possible mainly late in the day, and highs in the mid and upper 90s before any rain forms.  Only slight and subtle changes in the pattern through the weekend may alter the arrival and the intensity of daytime showers and storms, but a good deal of heat is forecast for each afternoon.  Feels-like temps will exceed 100° as well.
