MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The system in the Southeast that provided early-morning rain has shifted well to our south, but it has left scattered cloudiness in its wake. There’s still the broader upper low over the Deep South which will still generate a few showers and possible thunderstorms in a mostly isolated case late tonight. Additional spots of rain and thunder will be produced in advance of the upper disturbance tomorrow, but coverage of thunderstorms shouldn’t exceed 50% of the area. That means we should still get a fair amount of sunshine intermittently on Thursday. Tonight’s lows will remain mild in the lower 70s, and, depending on the amount and duration of cloud cover, many locations will still manage to reach the upper 80s to around 90°. Severe weather instances are expected to be low to non-existent tonight through Thursday. Scattered showers and storms will be a daily feature for the next several days ahead.
