MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Mostly cloudy conditions will be in place tonight through tomorrow as the Arctic front makes its approach.  While cloudiness will be abundant, rain action will be quite limited.  A few isolated showers are possible, particularly for westernmost counties Thursday morning and afternoon.  Any rain totals will be less than a quarter-inch, and most locations will get through the day without measurable rain.  With the extra clouds, lows will be held in the mid 50s overnight, and highs will attempt to rise toward 70°.  However, the onset of northerly winds tapping into the broad cold air mass across the country will force temperatures to fall by mid to late afternoon.  Friday will feature more sunshine with colder highs near 60°.  Clouds and a short warming trend will return over the weekend, with another complex of disturbed weather producing better chances for rain by Monday, then another temperature plunge following that.
