MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Abnormally warm temperatures were reached today, and we'll achieve these hotter levels again a couple more times between Thursday and the weekend. A series of high pressure systems will linger around the region through this time frame, keeping any approaching colder air masses away from the area and causing a mostly dry trend. A slim chance for an afternoon shower exists Thursday afternoon thanks to the heating and a modest disturbance sliding through the Deep South. Lows tonight will reach the mid 60s with dense fog possible. Highs Thursday will reach the mid 80s to lower 90s. There won't be any significant cooling until early next week at the soonest. A tropical depression may form in the Atlantic late this week but there are no signs it will create any local impacts.
