Storm Team Tuesday Morning forecast (09/10/2013)

Posted

Today continues our current trend of high temperatures in the low 90’s and low rain chances. High pressure centered over the Carolinas will keep rain chances less than 20% today, but easterly flow of the Atlantic will bring more moisture into the area and contribute to a “muggier” feel outside. Skies will be mostly sunny, with a few clouds developing during the afternoon. The rest of the work week will be similar to today, with highs in the low 90’s, low rain chances, and increasing humidity. A frontal system approaches Friday and stalls out over the area this weekend, decreasing highs to the high 80’s and triggering scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. Rain chances Saturday and Sunday will be 30-40%.
