We’ll start to feel changes in the air today as a batch of moisture gets tossed our way. Yes, we’ll have a couple showers dotting windshields this afternoon but you’re going to feel the moisture more than you see it. Humidity levels will go up steadily as winds shift and become more from the east and southeast; highs on Tuesday will near 70°. Meanwhile, because we’ll have more moisture in the air, lows tonight and the rest of the week will be a bit muggy near 60°. When it comes to rain, a “dome of high pressure” will serve as a road block of sorts as it sits off the east coast of Florida through the weekend. An area of low pressure and accompanying rain will develop around Mississippi or a bit west of there, but it won’t be able to move east because of the “dome” over our area. Instead, the rain gets thrown north toward the Great Lakes and we stay mostly dry while making a run toward 80° by Friday.
Be safe and have a great Tuesday!
