TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A clearer day than yesterday as a dry air mass moves in from the northwest. This air mass will help dry out the lower level moisture that caused the rain we saw yesterday. For today, a few clouds in the morning but those will clear out giving us a high around 85 today. As we continue into tomorrow that weak high pressure will settle over our area and keep the rain chances low and our temps high bumping up into the upper 80s and lows near 70°. By Thursday we will begin to see a surface level low move eastward from the Central Plains increasing our rain chances but keeping conditions muggy as winds turn off the Gulf of Mexico. Friday is when we can expect that major cold front to make its way into our area. Expect widespread rainfall. The cold front pushes all the way through the region early Saturday yielding much drier and cooler weather with lows unseasonably cool in the mid 50s by Sunday morning with highs only in the low to mid 80s.
