MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- We'll be seeing another warm set-up for this Tuesday as south winds keep the warmth coming in, as well as the moisture. A stalled front will stay north of us, forcing this flow to continues. So much moisture has helped formed dense fog across most of the region. This dense fog should die off by 9am or so, with partly cloudy skies being left in its wake. Highs today are forecast to jump well above average again, with numbers in the lower 80s, with a stray shower possible (<20% coverage). With all of the moisture and warmth present, expect lows tonight to stay in the lower 60s again, prolonging this above average trend.
Wednesday will continue with the warmth with highs near 80 degrees, isolated showers and partly cloudy skies. Thursday features the stalled cold front finally passing our region, bringing an elevated risk of showers and storms (40% coverage) before a significant cool down that will last into New Year's Eve. For Friday and Saturday, expect highs in the lower to mid 60s with lows in the lower 40s (Friday) and mid 30s (Saturday).
A quick resurgence in warmth and rain coverage is expected for the beginning of 2017, next week.
