MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- This week will feature elevated rain chances as we sit in an area where high moisture content continues to dominate. This will mean that temperatures won't stray too far from average, but it will still be hot and humid with a higher than typical rain chance each morning and afternoon.
Tuesday: A front in the southeast will stay north of our region, continuing to keep the southeast in a moist and warm environment. This will keep rain coverage higher than normal (60% coverage). Expect morning lows in the lower to mid 70s with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
Beach and Boating forecast information and your Tuesday Tide Times are below:
Wednesday and Thursday: Moist flow from the southwest will continue at both the surface and the upper levels. This will keep the region in a humid and unstable pattern. Expect lows in the lower to mid 70s with highs in the lower 90s. Rain coverage will sit around 50% each day.
Friday: A brief lull in the wet pattern is expected for Friday, though rain is STILL very possible. Expect lows in the mid 70s, highs in the lower 90s, with heat index values approaching the triple digits. Rain coverage will be scattered, at around 40%.
Saturday through Monday: Another trough carrying another front will approach the southeast. This will act similarly to the pattern currently in place with elevated rain chances (50-60% coverage) and highs struggling to reach 90°.
