The drier pattern continues today. The dry air will reduce cloud cover and keep rain chances low. Afternoon highs will peak in the lower to mid 90s. Winds coming onshore from the southwest will push gulf moisture on land during the afternoon hours, so there is still a 30% chance of seeing some spotty showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm. Rainfall today will be short-lived and will move from the southwest to the northeast. After sunset, most of the rain activity will dissipate. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s. If you have any outdoor plans , today would be the best day for it. Rain chances increase into Thursday as some unsettled air will make it easier for thunderstorms to develop in the afternoon hours. Cloud cover and rainfall will keep afternoon high temperatures in the low 90s from Thursday through the weekend.
