Storm Team Tuesday Morning Forecast (6/17/14)

and last updated

High pressure above us is helping to reduce shower activity, but still providing winds from the east that may kick up a little bit of rain this afternoon. Rain chances look like they will be around 20% for today and pop up mainly after lunch time, then die down after we lose day time heating. Expect temperatures today to reach close to the mid 90’s, but feel like the triple digits in some areas. We could see a few more showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon, with highs around 93. Skies will turn mostly cloudy Thursday afternoon and rain/t-storm chances will increase to 40%.  Afternoon high temps from Thursday through Monday of next week could be in the mid 90’s or even warmer! Try to keep cool and wear light colors during these afternoons and remember to stay hydrated. Rain chances will fall back to 20% by Monday.

Happy Tuesday!
