Storm Team Tuesday Morning Forecast (10/29/13)

Posted

A nice ridge over the Gulf of Mexico helps control our weather today keeping us dry and our temps above average. We could see a few more clouds this evening that will help give us a mild start to the day on Wednesday. Dry conditions stay with us till Thursday and even then I think we will only receive a light shower if anything at all. Halloween looks like it will be a warm one this year, with partly cloudy skies, less than a 20% chance for rain and a high of 83. Heading into the evening hours we will continue to be warm and dry with lows dropping to around 60 degrees.  By Friday, we will be tracking a cold front slowly approaching the area. This system will bring us some rain showers and thunderstorms in the evening and throughout the overnight hours. Saturday morning will be mostly cloudy with rainy conditions. By the late afternoon and evening we will begin to clear up and dry out; just in time for the FSU vs. UM game. After rain showers move away, “fall like” weather will return to our area. Sunday will begin on the cool side, with a morning low around 50 degrees. Sunshine will return and help us warm to 75. Monday looks partly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s.
