TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- High pressure building off the Carolina Coast will help to keep the weather pattern in a summer-like state, with afternoon highs reaching the low to mid 90s each day and isolated afternoon activity with rain coverage at 30%. This trend will stay for the long term forecast as well, with hot temperatures in the mid 90s and heat indices in triple digits. Rain coverage will remain between 30%-40% throughout the week with the storms making impact later in the afternoon.
