TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The heatwave continues into your midweek. It's another warm start with temps in the low 70s, but by the afternoon upper 90s return to the forecast with heat index values, or how it feels when humidity is factored in, ranging anywhere from 102°-107°. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in the A/C or shady spots today. An isolated storm is possible, but most of us will stay quiet and dry. The heat isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Wednesday looks virtually the same as today and then temps back off a bit, but still soar above average into the mid 90s. Scattered storms are possible Thursday and Friday before another high pressure system pushes into the southeast United States for Father's Day weekend allowing rain chances to become more isolated and temps to stay toasty in the mid 90s.
