The early morning hours were very humid, and fog was present before sunrise. The fog has burned off since then and North Florida and South Georgia will heat up from morning temperatures in the mid 70s. Afternoon highs throughout the entire region will be in the lower 90s. A 30% chance of rain is possible this afternoon and into the early evening hours, as the winds are pushed in from the south and southeast. Though the rain chance is low, the showers will be scattered, so be sure to keep an umbrella at hand this afternoon. The rain should not be a washout, and should pass quickly. More warm summer weather is in store for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the lower to mid 90s and rain chances will stick around in the 40-60% range beginning tomorrow.
