TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Conditions become more conducive for ample summery storms this afternoon. Increased winds from the open waters will usher in more moisture and warmth which will clash with inland winds and allow for the bubble up storms. Temps will feel summery as well near 90° for a high after starting the morning off soupy in the low 70s. A similar set up for Wednesday with afternoon and evening storms likely. High pressure shifts back west later in the work week limiting the amount of storminess Thursday through Saturday with only a few pop-up storms possible, mainly towards the Tri-State region. Temps will still be warm in the upper 80s with morning lows in the upper 60s courtesy of slightly less moisture sticking around, allowing temps to drop a bit more, especially farther inland. To end the weekend, expect more scattered storms even into the start of June with temps hovering around 90° for afternoon highs.
