TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Changes are coming to our current weather pattern. Today, we start off mighty foggy, especially for our eastern counties where visibilities are dropping to less than a quarter mile visibility. Take it easy on your morning commute. Dense fog advisories will be lifted by 10 am. In its place, we usher in our next cold front that will cause for some scattered showers. Temps will be warm ahead of this system. Expect temps to climb into the mid 70s this afternoon. Hanukkah begins tonight and the sunset is at 5:39 pm. On the back side of this system, temps cool, but not to extremely cold standards for this time of year. In fact, they mainly fall back to near seasonable averages. Lows tonight will be around 40° and highs on Wednesday will be in the mid 60s with plenty of sunshine. For Thursday, it'll be slightly cooler in the morning as a weak high pressure system influences the region. Expect temps in the upper 30s for your morning commute but by the afternoon we'll warm up significantly back into the mid and upper 60s. This weekend, our next frontal system advances towards the Deep South late Friday night causing for scattered showers and storms for Saturday. We could see some leftover showers for the end of the weekend as well, but computer model guidance is disagreeing on the timing and amounts with the system to end the weekend and begin next work week. We'll keep you updated on this next system as it advances.
