TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Slightly milder this morning with temps only dipping into the upper 30s, compared to the upper 20s experienced yesterday. Highs will skim 70° this afternoon as winds turn from the Gulf. This added moisture will increase clouds throughout the day and even a stray shower is possible closer to the coast and in the western Panhandle. A cold front pushes into the southeast overnight which will allow for scattered, mainly light, showers. Temps will be moderated in the low 50s overnight and will only top off in the low 60s by the afternoon. We stay in the 50s all day on Thursday with a few more showers possible. High pressure quickly builds in to end the work week and head into the weekend, but it has its origins over the open Gulf, meaning it won't bring Arctic air, like the last several clearing systems. Therefore, it'll be cool in the morning and milder in the afternoon. Upper 60s for Friday, and low to mid 70s through early next week.
