A cold front will sweep through the area today bringing some showers and a few thunderstorms. Behind the front is much drier air, breezy conditions and some cooler temperatures. Today will be mostly cloudy with showers scattered across the area. The high temp for the day will most likely be reached in the early morning hours, and then we will cool down once the front starts to push through. As we clear out later this evening, we will cool down quickly to 41 degrees, so it’s time to pull the jackets and sweaters back out and keep them handy for this next week! Wednesday will be partly cloudy and much cooler than recent days with a high of 65. There is a slight chance for showers tomorrow but it will be light and spotty and mainly for the eastern counties. Thursday and Friday will be nice and dry days with plenty of sunshine and high temps in the mid 60’s/ By Saturday will be will tracking the next system that will move through during the evening bringing more rain and the chance for some thunderstorms. Morning clouds and rain showers are expected on Sunday, with gradual clearing in the afternoon and evening. Once that front passes, our high on Monday will be 62, with sunny skies.
Happy Tuesday!
