TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Conditions become more unsettled as the day progresses. Temps this morning are in the mid to upper 50s and mid 70s are expected again this afternoon. A few light, scattered showers are likely as a warm front lifts from the south. Another, much more potent system will push along the Gulf coast throughout the day which could provide high wind gusts and a few isolated tornadoes especially for the western half of the WTXL viewing area. This will approach the west side around midnight and quickly push eastward overnight. By mid-morning, the severe part of the system will be east of the region. Expect a half inch to an inch of newly accumulated rainfall. Temps will be in the 60s tomorrow and Thursday with high temps in the 60s. Overnight lows bottom out back in the 30s Friday through the weekend with freezing conditions expected by Sunday morning. Daytime highs still rebound back to at least 60° with plenty of sunshine to go around. 70s return by Monday.
