TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - More near record breaking heat with temps this morning uncomfortably muggy in the 60s with some patchy fog. By this afternoon, winds continue to blow from the southwest ushering in a hot set up with highs in the upper 80s. A stray shower is possible midweek with temps still unseasonably warm in the mid to upper 80s. A cold front moves into the southeast prompting scattered showers and a few isolated storms for St. Patrick's Day. Conditions will still be warm with highs near 80°. The rainy set up will cool us off to near seasonable levels for the end of the work week and the weekend with mid 70s expected Friday, low 70s Saturday, and temps staying in the upper 60s on Sunday as the front completely pushes by. Until then, a few scattered showers are possible. High pressure builds in and continues to cool us off with 30s returning by Monday morning and afternoon highs only get to the upper 60s.
