TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- Another day filled with ample showers and storms.  This is all still courtesy of a stalled out front to our north and west.  However, it will weaken significantly over the next 24 hours as high pressure over the Gulf waters begins to strengthen.  Temps today still stay muggy but we'll warm a little more than yesterday as I'm anticipating more sunshine around the region.  Highs climb to the upper 80s.  Temps tonight stay seasonable around the low 70s and conditions remain humid.  By tomorrow, as the high builds in, we'll see more periods of sunshine with some scattered sea breeze-induced storms possible in the afternoon hours.  Coverage of the storms will be more limited than in past days and this is an indicator of typical summery conditions returning to the region.  So though we dry out a little, I still encourage folks to keep the umbrella in the car to dodge the pop up storms the next several days.  This pattern persists into the end of the week and even into the weekend with about a 30-40% coverage with the storms.  Temps warm up significantly Wednesday and beyond back into the mid 90s through the weekend with lows staying uncomfortably warm in the mid 70s.
