Today looks to almost be a carbon copy of yesterday. In fact, we again will have rain chances around 50%, as showers and storms develop around 11 a.m. and push inland from the coastal region after that point. This is due to the southwest flow that is established across the region. This in turn allows for more moisture as well as the necessary ingredients to spur the afternoon showers we typically experience. This is also one of the reasons the humidity is relatively high, as the gulf moisture flows onshore. As for the temperatures today, expect to be in the low 90's by afternoon, however if you get rain before this point expect the high temperature to be significantly lower as the rain will cool your location down. Looking into the next few days expect rain chance to decrease ever so slightly as a front to north may allow some drier air to seep into the region limiting the overall rain chances.
