Enjoy these last few hours of mild air, big changes are coming later today! A cold front will move through this afternoon and bring us a few showers and windy conditions. High temps are expected to reach 62. After the front passes much colder air will rush in around the Big Bend Region. Temperatures will drop tonight to the upper 20’s. Hard freeze mornings may be put in place later today; some have already been issued for counties east of I-75. Sunshine and plenty of it will be in the forecast for the next several days along with below average temperatures. Another dry cold front on Friday will be reinforcing some colder air. Morning lows will once again be in the 20’s and highs will struggle to make it out of the 40’s. By Sunday and Monday high temps will be back around 60 degrees with mostly sunny skies.
Have a great Tuesday!
