TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We're really putting the forecast on cruise control these last few days. The unsettled weather pattern continues with mid to late morning showers and storms springing up, especially closer to the coastline. Then during the day, we'll get a little more active farther inland and the on and off popcorn storms can continue late into the evening. This is all due to a sea breeze boundary interacting with a cold front digging into the Deep South stirring up the atmosphere just enough to spring up the stormy conditions. Temps will subside if you're one of the many getting underneath one of these thunderstorms. I still expect most of us to get into the low to mid 90s throughout the day, but it's all dependent on where exactly the storms boil up. Tonight, more patchy fog is expected as we hold onto some leftover moisture. Temps only bottom out in the mid 70s. Midweek, conditions dry somewhat, but the farther south and east you are, that's where the elevated rain chances remain. That's due to the cold front slowly making its way into the area allowing for dry air to dominate farther to the north and west. We'll call for a 50% chance for rain. By Thursday and Friday, the rain chances continue to deteriorate, but some rain chances still remain for folks to the south and east. This weekend, conditions look relatively dry with temps edging back solidly into the mid 90s.
