Heavy rain and potential strong storms will move through the region this morning. Flash flood warnings have been issued across the area due to rain rates of 2-3”/hr. A flash food watch remains in effect till 2p.m. for all of our area. The heavy rain should wrap up this afternoon and clear out by dinner time. Prepare for unseasonably cold temperatures tonight. Lows will drop to the upper 30’s across the area; in fact a freeze warning has been issued for portions of Southeastern Alabama. Wednesday will be partly sunny, breezy and cool with a high temp of 71 degrees. Thursday, will be partly sunny as well, with a high temp of 75. Rain showers and thunderstorms will pop back in the forecast on Friday, with highs in the upper 70’s. Saturday through Monday will be partly sunny with scattered showers in the afternoons and highs in the low to mid 80’s.
