TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Expect spots of fog and mist on your morning drive with temps much cooler than yesterday dipping into the 50s. Clearing skies will greet us late this morning with plenty of sunshine expected. This will allow for a mild day with temps in the upper 70s this afternoon. High pressure quickly building in on the back side of the cold front that brought us anywhere from 2-6" of beneficial rain since Sunday, is causing the quiet set up through Veteran's DSay. Temps will start off cool in the low 50s before transitioning to a comfortably warm afternoon in the low 80s with bright sunshine. Mid 80s can be expected fro Thursday before a dry, polar cold front moves through late in the day. This will allow for a breezy and cool end to the work week with temps in the morning near 60° and by the afternoon it'll be in the mid 70s. Expect temps to struggle to get out of the 60s this weekend with overnight temps dipping well into the 40s--easily the coldest air of the season!
