Today will be very hot and humid with heat indices in the triple digits! Find a way to stay cool, hydrated and out of direct sunlight. Today will be partly to mostly cloudy with afternoon scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms; rain chances are around 30 percent. Today’s afternoon high temperature is expected to hit 98 degrees but will feel much warmer. This will be the trend through Wednesday. A tropical depression off the east coast of Florida may bring a slight increase in our rain chances and cloudiness towards the holiday weekend. High temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 90’s from Thursday to Sunday. By Saturday, it looks like we will be back to partly sunny skies with rain chances around 20 percent. Sunday and Monday look the same with highs in the mid 90’s.
