TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A sprawling area of high pressure over the Mid-Atlantic is allowing for our clear, dry trend to persist. Albeit, there is a slight breeze this morning that will, again, stick with us through the course of the day, temps are slightly warmer this morning than yesterday, only getting into the mid 50s, rather than mid 40s some of our south Georgia areas saw to start off the work week. By the afternoon, temps will moderate slightly, getting above 80° for the first time since Saturday. Expect temps to be in the upper 50s to low 60s for overnight lows through the weekend while daytime highs will start to warm back up as we usher in some more Atlantic moisture via an easterly flow with highs getting into the low to mid 80s through the 7-day forecast. Rain chances look slim at best, with our eastern counties seeing a few isolated pop-up showers as soon as tomorrow afternoon. Everyone else looks mainly dry through the weekend.
