MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- More rain will be possible through the work week as a surge of tropical moisture in the NE Gulf of Mexico moves in. While storms will be scattered in some cases,  it's recommended that you keep the rain gear with you all week in the case of heavy rain.

Tuesday: Similar to Monday, the morning starts off cloudy, with mild lows in the lower to mid 70s. As the sun rises, some clouds may burn off, though mostly cloudy skies are expected to continue. Highs are forecast to reach the mid 80s inland, with lower 80s along the coast. Rain coverage is expected to be around 60%. Some storms can produce locally heavy rainfall.

Beach and Boating forecast information is below, as well as a look at your Tuesday Tide Times:

Wednesday through Saturday: More moisture will enhance the rain coverage through the period, with rain coverage at 50-60%. With little change in the weather pattern, similar changes are anticipated in the mornings and afternoons. Expect morning temperatures in the lower/mid 70s with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Skies will feature partly sunny to mostly cloudy conditions.

Sunday and Monday: A cold front from the northwest is expected to arrive in the southeastern U.S. and stall nearby. This will keep the chance of rain present (40% coverage), with lows in the lower to mid 70s and highs in the lower 90s expected.

You can catch the forecast on WTXL Sunrise starting at 5:00, as well as WTXL Midday at Noon. Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse has your forecast at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, and 11:00 this evening.
