We’re working the last bits of a cold front through this morning. There may be a few light showers left over the closer you are to I-75 but that’s about it. Clouds will gradually thin this afternoon but highs will suffer; only in the mid 60s. Wind will be an issue again for Tuesday but it’s a cold wind from the north with gusts near 20mph. Tonight, the wind continues leading to a chilly start to Wednesday with lows near 40° and a wind chill in the heart of the 30s; definitely long sleeve territory. We’ve got a sun filled week ahead of us but we don’t lose the chilly wind until Friday, by that point highs hit the 70s and don’t look back. St. Patrick’s Day looks to be one of the best weather days we’ve seen in a while with highs near 77° and a good deal of sun. Yes, there is a bit of cool air to get through between now and then; lows Thursday and Friday morning will flirt briefly with freezing but we look to avoid a freeze.
Be safe and have a great Tuesday!
