MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The storminess has begun early this Tuesday. Combine that with the fogginess across the area and you have an intimidating atmosphere to contend with. Severe weather possibilities grow as the day progresses as the conditions are favorable. What are those conditions? Warm air, tons of moisture in the atmosphere, and enough energy in the upper levels to support the development of these strong storms. Heavy rains can cause flash flooding concerns. Due to this, the majority of the viewing area is under a flash flood watch until Wednesday evening. Temperatures wont change much throughout the day. We'll start off in the mid 60s and only work our way up to the upper 60s. The same for Wednesday, however, the main difference will be a larger flood threat for Wednesday. This all due to an intense storm system crossing the country that will continue to push to the northeast and impact New England later this week. We will be clear from the system just in time for Christmas Day.
