TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A frontal system digging into the Deep South will activate more storm coverage for the next couple of days. Rainfall will generally be seen in the afternoon and evening, but stray storms are possible this morning, especially closer to the coastline. Temps are in the mid 70s with mid 90s returning this afternoon. Widespread storms are expected tomorrow and a couple of them may be strong as the front advances. High winds are the main threat. Temps back off as clouds increase, dropping to the low 90s. The cold front will pass by early on Thursday allowing for a brief dry period before another sea breeze rolls back inland Thursday afternoon allowing for average rain threats through the holiday weekend. Temps heat off as we see more sunshine, especially early in the day, so expect a hot holiday weekend with temps Thursday back into the low and mid 90s with mid to upper 90s expected for Friday through the 4th of July.
