TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another cool start with temps around 40° this Veterans Day morning. With plenty of sunshine, those temps make a quick jump to the upper 70s this afternoon. The weather for any events to honor our veterans today will be simply gorgeous. Overnight, we cool off once again down to the mid 40s, which is still a few degrees below average, though not as cold as it was this morning or Monday morning. Mild air sticks around Wednesday afternoon getting to near 80°. A dry cold front that has pushed through the entire country plunging most everyone into the coldest air of the season will push through here Thursday. We may see more cloud cover because of this frontal boundary, but rain chances look minimal. We get the tail end of that Arctic air, but it won't be anything we haven't seen already this season. Temps barely reaching 60° on Friday and plunge to the mid 30s Saturday morning. Clear conditions persist until Sunday when a storm system pushes along the Gulf coast bringing a good chance of rain by the afternoon and evening.
