TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Welcome to the first complete day of fall! The front that provided some scattered showers on Monday especially for western counties has sunk just to the south of the region and stalled out. Because the center of the moisture is still so close to the area, I can't rule an isolated shower heading into the next couple of days, but most folks will stay dry for most of the work week. Because we're in the cooler and drier section of the air mass now, temps will remain rather mild starting off your Tuesday in the mid to upper 60s and only climbing into the mid and upper 80s for afternoon highs. This trend persists through Friday before the stalled out front gets a nudge of Gulf moisture and pushes northward back into the region. Some slow-moving scattered storms are expected for your weekend and temps will be pretty muggy in the low 70s overnight and upper 80s for highs.
