TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The warming trend continues -- back to summer-like conditions! Temps start off still on the cool side today, but significantly warmer than Monday in the mid to upper 50s. That's courtesy of the clouds moving into the region allowing for more moisture to moderate those temps. By the afternoon, a renewed flow from the Gulf will allow for temps to bump warmer into the mid 80s. A rogue shower can't be ruled out with the onshore flow possibly causing a minimal sea breeze to fire up, but nothing widespread and the majority of us won't see the rain today or for the next several days for that matter. The high pressure that caused this big cool down is now the driving force to keeping us dry through the weekend it looks like. Midweek, a cold front advances to the north but really falls a part due to the dominance of this stable air mass over us. Temps consistently warm back into the upper 80s by midweek into the weekend. Lows also creep up back into the low 60s, however no significant muggy summer-like air mass is expected, despite the return to warm afternoon highs. The next real rain threat does not get into the region until early next week, and even then it doesn't look like the greatest threat.
