TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The soggy weather continues. Dense fog advisories are issued area-wide until 10 am for visibility falling to less than a quarter of a mile. Take it easy heading to work this morning because of the fog and slick spots on the roadway from leftover moisture from Monday's rainfall. Temps remain warm beginning in the low 60s and upper 50s transitioning into the upper 60s and nearing 70° this afternoon. Mostly cloudy conditions persist with a few isolated sprinkles or showers possible, but overall it's just going to be a gray day. Wednesday will hold much of the same: some fog, mild temps and cloudy conditions that can yield one or two isolated showers. Thursday, scattered showers are possible but new computer model guidance indicates this next system may pass to the south of us. So coastal communities and the Suwannee River Valley have the best shot at some rainfall throughout the day while it may be pretty messy for folks travelling to the peninsula. As that system passes, high pressure begins to move in allowing for clearer skies and an overall cooler trend. Temps will be in the upper 30s by Friday morning with low to mid 60s expected by the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies will be in the forecast through the long holiday weekend with highs in the mid to upper 60s and lows varying from the mid 30s to low 40s.
