MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Widely scattered, spotty rain and thunder are possible through about 9 p.m., with only isolated cases of showers or thunder for the late-night hours. Areas impacted by rain can experience downpours and heavy rain at times. Otherwise, clouds will break overnight, and lows will fall to the low to mid 70s. Wednesday will feature similar conditions to today, with very few variations: morning sun, partly cloudy by early afternoon, and scattered showers and storms forming from the daytime heating, available moisture, and wind flows mixing with the seabreeze. The heat will continue, too, with highs in the low to mid 90s. There may be a slight decrease in thunderstorm activity Thursday, then additional coverage of rain and storms by Friday with the influences of tropical moisture to the southeast of the region. Tropical Storm Dolly will move into Mexico later today, creating no risks to the Big Bend region.
