MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A drier pattern will keep shower and storm chances minimal for most of the local area for the next couple of days. Isolated rain will be confined to area near and east of Interstate 75 and the coastal bend through mid-evening. Temps will fall to lows around the low and mid 70s, and patchy fog is possible, though maybe not as widespread as previous nights. Ample sun will allow warming through the 80s, peaking in the low 90s in most areas, but showers and storms will still be limited in number. Leftover moisture in the western Atlantic combined with a swirl of upper-level low pressure over the Carolinas will attempt to drift to the southwest and can be the source of scattered showers and storms to end this work week. There's no big sign of significant cooling sources anytime within the next seven days.
