MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered clouds today may be capable to producing a stray shower or brief thunderstorm before sunset, but tomorrow will feature increased cloudiness and higher rain chances. We’ll monitor the arrival of a cold front to the west of the region, coupled with a surge of moisture to the southeast coming in from the tropics. These features will add to a threat for heavier downpours, and existing warmth and upper-level winds may help to boost thunderstorm chances, with isolated stronger storms possible. Lows tonight will again be warm in the upper 60s to around 70°, and the additional clouds Wednesday should keep highs in the 80s. Rain remains in the picture through most of Thursday, but the sun breaks out again by Friday with drier and cooler conditions arriving.
