MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Upper-level clouds are filtering out the sunshine in many cases, but rain is absent from the local weather picture this evening. However, the thin clouds indicate areas of moisture nearby. Additional moisture sources are located in the southern and eastern Gulf through tomorrow, and some of that moisture will attempt to stream into the region for midweek. An opposing force of high pressure over the Carolinas will keep local winds coming in from the east. With the moisture lurking offshore, there's a slightly greater chance for passing showers and periods of overcast sky for coastal and eastern areas tomorrow, with a little more sunshine to the north and west. Lows will return to near average around 70°, and highs will range from the low 80s coast to mid and near upper 80s along the Flint River. The best chances for rain will stretch into Thursday before slacking off and warming up by the end of the week.
