MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
It will remain generally clear tonight, with little to no wind, as high pressure over the northern Gulf continues to have a prevailing influence in the regional weather pattern. Another chilly set-up is ahead, producing another round of light-freeze conditions overnight. Since temperatures were slightly warmer today, it will take a little longer for temps to reach the freezing point, so durations of time at or below 32° will be shorter. Regardless, a freeze warning will be posted again early in the morning as minimum readings fall to around 30° to 32° except for locations right on the water. Ample sunshine resumes tomorrow to support highs around 60°. A slight warming trend will occur toward the end of the week ahead of a blip of low pressure Friday swinging in from the Gulf, causing higher rain coverage and a chance for a few thunderstorms. More cold air is forecast to arrive early next week.
