MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Thunderstorms s evening are few and far between, and mainly focused in interior south Georgia, with a couple along the Big Bend seabreeze front. The south Georgia storms may be briefly strong through mid-evening, then gradually weaken and dissipate as we advance later into the night. A modest cold front will approach the region tomorrow, inducing a westerly wind flow upon the area. That, plus the sunshine, will be enough to boost temperatures into the low to mid 90s in some cases. Showers and storms are still possible in the daytime, but likely to remain somewhat scattered. Pockets of heavy rain and isolated stronger storms are possible. The front will cause slight drying, which will reduce the rain potential in most areas later in the week. Morning temps will be near average, but still hotter than average for the afternoons.
