MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Conditions are set to continue warming for the region in the next several days as higher pressure takes hold.  A slim rain chance arrives Thursday as a cold front lifts to the northeast from the Mississippi Valley.  Scattered showers or storms are more likely in the Flint River area by Thursday afternoon and evening, but development greatly diminishes for eastern and southeastern areas.  Afterwards, a mix of sun and clouds will aid in a drastic warm-up by the weekend with some highs exceeding 90°. For tonight though, lows will drop back into the 50s, and highs Wednesday return to the mid 80s.
