MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Showers and storms are rather isolated through early evening, but, in similar fashion to previous nights, eastern counties near Interstate 75 may encounter the arrival of Atlantic-induced showers and storms, a few of which may contain heavy rain and gusty winds, along with bouts of lightning. The activity is forecast to diminish later in the night, leaving breaking clouds and the chance for patchy fog before sunrise. Lows will reach the mid and lower 70s. There isn't much change in the weather pattern expected Wednesday, so the morning will be filled with warming sunlight, scattered clouds will form by midday, and isolated showers and storms will be generated during the afternoon, becoming most numerous in the early evening. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s, with feels-like temperatures around 100° at times. A front across the Southeast may trigger even more rain and storms on Thursday before nearby high pressure takes over to reduce the overall rain coverage a tad by the weekend.
