MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Cloudy and rainy conditions stay in the outlook for the next 24 to 36 hours.  Future rain activity should be generally scattered, but capable of producing heavy downpours which can add another one to two inches of rain on top of today’s generous accumulations, particularly in northern Florida.  Isolated thunderstorms may pack gusty winds, but the overall severe thunderstorm risk is still rather minimal.  Lows will be in the low 70s area-wide, and highs will be limited to the low to mid 80s, and only if occasional sunshine breaks through the clouds.  The current low-pressure disturbance, along with a cold front late tomorrow, will trigger a drying trend Thursday morning which will bring back abundant sunshine for Friday.  Morning temps will be slightly cooler, while afternoon temps rise back into the 90s.  Scattered rain action returns for the weekend.
