MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
It's very hot early this evening, and temperatures have the chance to run up to similar levels tomorrow. But, many indications show an increased chance for developing showers and storms across the Deep South sliding to the south by later in the day, which may possibly hold temps in the mid 90s and away from the 100°, especially if storms arrive earlier than depicted. It will still be very warm before storms arrive. When they do, they can produce heavy rain and gusty winds, with a modest chance for severe weather at times. Lows tonight will be in the middle 70s, and still above average for highs Wednesday. We will continue to lean toward a disturbed weather pattern with impulses of action riding into the region from the north for the next several days. In addition, the eastern Gulf low may play a role in heightened rain chances for the end of the week and into the weekend.
